How do I register an inquiry?

The results of investigations such as a DPIA or an audit can be registered in the SBC Management System and the progress of the investigations can be monitored.

In the management system, an investigation can have relationships with the tables below:

  • Data Subjects
  • Contracts
  • Data breaches
  • Information systems
  • Processing
  • Processes

Recording an Investigation

  • Expand the menu under ‘Company’ and select the ‘Research’ option.
  • Click on the “+” and enter the data in the Research tab, as shown in the print screen.
  • Select the ‘Relationship’ tab to create a relationship with the data cards this Survey pertains to.
  • Select the ‘History’ tab to see the data card audit trail.
  • Select the paper clip icon to upload supporting documents.
  • Select the text bubble icon to post a comment.
